MS Excel 2003 Pivot Table question
Does anyone know how to insert a hyperlink into a pivot table without it
losing it's formatting? I can insert the link into the data sheet, but when it refreshes it into the actual pivot table, it is no longer a link. It is just a listing telling people where they can go to find the link. I appreciate any thoughts anyone might have on this. |
MS Excel 2003 Pivot Table question
The items in a Pivot Table's row and column areas are text only. Even if
you have hyperlinks in the source data, those won't carry over to the pivot table. You could use a column with formulas outside the pivot table, to create the hyperlinks. Use the HYPERLINK function, and refer to the cells in the pivot table. Tauni wrote: Does anyone know how to insert a hyperlink into a pivot table without it losing it's formatting?
