Modified Date Formula for Pivot Tables
I'm trying to build a Pivot Table based on results scattered across a variety
of dates. I would like to find a formula that would modify the dates to the first of whatever month it took place in so the Pivot Table will chart all jobs in one month as one, rather than separate per indivdiual dates. Does anyone know of any formula I can use to create a modifed date? Ex. January 26, 2009 to 1/1/09 Tanelle |
Modified Date Formula for Pivot Tables
Hi,
=EOMONTH(A1,-1)+1 this assumes that the date is in A1 The EOMONTH function is part of the ATP in 2003, so you need to choose Tools, Add-ins, and put a check beside Analysis ToolPak. -- If this helps, please click the Yes button Cheers, Shane Devenshire "Tan83" wrote: I'm trying to build a Pivot Table based on results scattered across a variety of dates.
