Text to Columns
Whenever I used text to column, the next time I copy, its uses the same
format as the last text to column when I paste. How can I reset "Text to columns" without the need to close the Excel? |
Text to Columns
Either go to a new worksheet or clear the area on the current worksheet. I
ofter select the entire worksheet by press the gray cell between Row 1 and column A and the press DELETE. You can also go to a new area on the worksheet where previous data was not imported. Excel rrecognizes that you are import to the same area as a previous Text to Column (or imported data) and using the old format to do the operation. You simply need to delete the previous data.
