How to calculate the number of days between two dates
 

I am trying to calculate the difference in dates between two dates for SLA
calculation.The output ( i.e number of days) should exclude the weekends and
holidays

The function you need is NETWORKDAYS. As with every other Excel function
(except one), you'll find details in Excel help.

You'll need to install teh analysis Toolpak for networkdays to
function.
Are your week ends saturday and sunday ?
