Dif size text with Formulas
 

have a workbook with two columns of Currency. On typing
additions/subtractions in "D", it then auto adjusts the new balance into "E".
However, the text used in "D" is standard 10 size, but when "E" is adjusted
with the formula, its text size, also listed as 10, is almost twice the width
of normal. Having to expand the width of "E" to allow the formula size to fit
is taking necessary room from other colums to allow it to fit into one page
(normal layout). How do I readjust the width, text size, of the formulas
balance to match that of normal text I would type in?

To get all the cells to "fit"

Adjust the font size with:
Format Cells... Alignment shrink to fit

Ok, so there is no way to adjust it to a certain size like normal then?

Sorry, had hit Enter on last post by accident.. Anyways, your suggestion
works, but it will still vary the size of text depending on the amount of
characters in cell. eg 12,549,333.07 is a diferent size than 688,524.15. Is
there no way to get them all the same size, back to standard Size '10'?

There are only two things to adjust:

1. the font in a cell
2. the width of the column:
Click on the column and:
Format Column AutoFit

I agree with you. I also don't like some cells in a column to be a
different width than others. It degrades the read-ability.
