Keeping data grouped when Filtering
I have a spreadsheet where each column has a header cell ("Status, Priority,
Responsiblity, etc). Then I have the data broken up in groups, with one row acting as the group header. (Software, Electrical Mechanical, etc) I want to filter the data to only show items where the Status cell contains 'Complete'. But I want my groups to stay in tact, leaving the row headers in place. What is the best solution? |
Keeping data grouped when Filtering
Put that grouping value on every row that should be displayed.

But apparently they did) "Dave Peterson" wrote: Put that grouping value on every row that should be displayed.
