Unable to open Excel 2000
 

All of a sudden I am unable to open any of my excel files in excel 2000. I
get the message: 'Microsoft Excel encounted a problem and needs to
close-sorry for the inconvenience' I then have the option of sending and
error message. I have tried updating with the original discs in the computer
and that did not work. Is there something else I can try? Can I remove the
microsoft suite and re-load it without effecting my files?
