On custom toolbar, how to save macro link to flashdrive ?

I have set up a custom toolbar containing two symbols linked to two macros,
plus the Format Painter icon. I must save workbooks to flash drive because I
use many different computers, but everytime I open my workbook, the link
between my two controls is always broken, the same thing happens if the
computer I'm on needs to be re-booted. The Format Painter icon always works
correctly. Mostly I use Excel 2003, but occasionaly Excel 2007 under
Vista. Thanks. John

I find it much easier to modify the toolbar to support the macros via code.
It'll work easier when/if I share the file -- or even just move the file.

For additions to the worksheet menu bar, I really like the way John Walkenbach
does it in his menumaker workbook:

Here's how I do it when I want a toolbar:
http://www.contextures.com/xlToolbar02.html
(from Debra Dalgleish's site)

In xl2007, those toolbars and menu modifications will show up under the addins.

And if you use xl2007:

If you want to learn about modifying the ribbon, you can start at Ron de Bruin's
site:
http://www.rondebruin.nl/ribbon.htm
http://www.rondebruin.nl/qat.htm -- For macros for all workbooks (saved as an
addin)
or
