How do I open two excel docs in seperate windows?

Hi out there!!
I am adding things from one file to another and opening these together in
the same window is frustrating for me as I have to scroll up and down on one
document it makes the other move and I cannot figure out how the freeze
works... so my solution is to open them in two seperate windows but I
cannot figure that one out either.. I guess I am not phrasing the question
so that the automatic help will answer to my satisfaction.

Having separate instances may complicate you problems even more, but
simply start two instances from the Quick launch bar or the Start menu.

Hi

If you choose Compare Side by Side, they will both scroll together.
Select Close Side by Side
Choose WindowsArrangeVertical
You can set WindowsFreeze panes independently in each window
