Data selection..
I have two ranges of data, 6 cells by 100 cells large. When the values are
pasted into a specific area the data is filtered off by cell reference formulas into an optimiser. There are two of these data ranges, representing two scenarios of a market forecast. What I would like to achieve is rather than the manual copying and pasting of values into the key cells to drive the optimiser, to have a lookup or macro in place so I can just type "Expected" or "Low" and it will place the data in the range required. Any ideas? I've managed it with named cells driving HLOOKUPS, i.e for year I type "2009" in a cell named "RUNYEAR" and the driving cell in the lookups is =RUNYEAR - so if i type 2009 it will filter out the row under 2009...but how can I achieve this with a massive selection of data (not just one row under one header cell) |
