Conditional formatting, based on a different cell

Let's say I want column A to be formatted with a yellow fill color, if the
value of column B (same row) is 1. Can this be done with a formula in
conditional formatting? If so, can you provide it?

Thanks!!

Yes. Use "Formula Is" in CF, rather than "Cell Value Is".
