Can you run a Access database on a computer if you DONT have Acces
Hi,
You might want to post to the Access Newsgroup: http://www.microsoft.com/communities...&lang=en&cr=US There are also Run-Time versions of Access (but I'm not sure what versions of Access have this option): Take a look he http://support.microsoft.com/search/...omm=1&res= 20 -- If this helps, please click the Yes button Cheers, Shane Devenshire "Ted" wrote: Is it possible to distribute an application if the end user does not have Microsoft Office or must they purchase Office Pro. |

Virtually all modern computers have the Access database engine (it is called
Jet) installed, so if the user has Excel they can read/write a Jet database (.mdb), but they cannot use the ACCESS end-user stuff to build queries and forms etc. Charles ___________________________________ The Excel Calculation Site http://www.decisionmodels.com "Ted" wrote in message ...
