"Can't shift objects off sheet"
This message is displayed sometimes when hiding rows or columns in Excel. It
has also appeared when trying to reduce the size of a row height. This is even after the colums or rows in question have been 'cleared". thanks |
"Can't shift objects off sheet"
Hi,
I have seen this when you Insert rows or columns but not when you Delete them. In the first case, you should select the column directly after the last column you want to retain and press Shift+Ctrl+Right Arrow. Then press Ctrl+- (Control Minus) Similarly for rows, select the first non useful row after you data and then press Shift+Ctrl+Down Arrow. Then Ctrl+- as above. Save the file. See if that helps. -- If this helps, please click the Yes button Cheers, Shane Devenshire "PRINCE" wrote: This message is displayed sometimes when hiding rows or columns in Excel.
