Best way to place text data into a formated Template?
I am trying to format a text file (raw data) that contains sales info into an
Excel (2003) Packing Slip Template. Do I use a macro to do this, or can I use the import feature? What ever I use, I need to delineate when a new packing slip should be generated, based on a new order-id. Thank you in advance for any help I can get. |

Without having the full facts it's impossible to know what to suggest.
You could format your text file (Word?) prior to import or you could import into an Excel file then use 'Text to columns' feature to format as your template and then copy into the template. I can't answer the new packing slip generation part of the problem. "Lon" wrote: I am trying to format a text file (raw data) that contains sales info into an Excel (2003) Packing Slip Template.
