Field size for Data Validation Input Message
I am finding that the length of message I can put in the "Title" and "Input
Message" fields in the Data Validation dialog box is too small. In the Title field, I can barely fill half of the line before the input keys stop working. And in the Input Message field, where it looks as if I could put 7 lines, I can barely get four lines. What is limiting the input? How can I extend the input? Thanks. Mike |

The brief answer is Excel.
All things have their limits; just make your title and message more succinct. Paul "MichaelRobert" wrote in message ... I'm not sure what the limit is on the Title length but the Input message is
limited to 255 characters including spaces. If that isn't enough try using a regular cell comment. -- Biff Microsoft Excel MVP "MichaelRobert" wrote in message ...
