Getting data for a rolling 12 months from SQL database into Excel
I can get the data from my SQL database (a call tracking system) for the last
year by setting 'create date' 03/02/2008. I would like to get this for a rolling 12 months, so I don't have to update my query each time, but rather just refresh it. Is this even possible? Thanks in advance, Maggie |

You might be able to set up a parameter query that gets the parm from a cell in your spreadsheet. I've done this successfully with MSQ and Access, but do not have SQL to test the procedure. Take a look at this: http://www.dicks-clicks.com/excel/ExternalData6.htm Or Google _ms query parameter_. |
