Protect Cells
 

Issue:
I would like to protect specific columns in a spreadsheet, but still allow
grouping, and hide column and all other functions on non-protected and
protected cells.

In other words, I want to prevent the modification of the data in these
cells, but all other functionality be the same.

Action taken:
I have locked the specific cells with the format command and tools- protect
worksheet, with all options checked except select locked cells.

Any advise?
