Default I can't find the autosave file in the path provided, help?

I checked my tools/options/save and it says that my spreadsheet should save
every 10 minutes to the path provided in the field box. I tried to follow
that path and there is no file there. I also check to make sure that all
hidden files are being shown and it still isn't there. Does anyone know where
the file goes if the path described for the autosave doesn't show a file?
