Need help with a function
I am using Excel 2007. I have a group of cells in a workbook (source) linked
to another group of cells in a (external) or different workbook (destination). The link works fine. My issue is that if I input colored text in my source work book, it does not appear in the same color in the destination work book. The text in the destination work book is always black or what ever I sent the color format to. --So how can I get colored text in the destination to appear as the same in the source workbook? I tried the conditional formating and it does not work. Thanks in advance to the smart one who knows the answer. |

The link does not "carry over" formats. This is true even between cells in
the same worksheet. Best to copy the format of the cell in the first worksheet and paste/special/formats onto the destination cell. -- Gary''s Student - gsnu200829 "Dan" wrote: I am using Excel 2007.
