Excel 2007 crash on new file

I have excel 2007 and vista on a brand new computer. Whenever I try
create a new workbook(CTRL +N) while an another workbook is open or
transfer a worksheet to a new workbook, excel crashes and auto
recovers. Any ideas for fixing this?

Same problem, excel 2007 is constantly crashing, I am not sure it is a
compatiilbility problem between old excel 2003 files, and upgrading to 2007,
or excel 2007 is the problem.
