What is needed to open e-mails created in excel 2007, when using excel 2003?

Excel 2007 does not create e-mails.

Did you receive a 2007 excel file in an e-mail and now want to open that
file using excel 2003?

You will need the Compatibility pack to open 2007 files on 2003

Or ask the sender to re-save the file as 97-2003 file and resend.
