printing full bleed (ie. no print margins)

I've been trying for ages to get a header in Excel to print out full bleed,
but can't figure out how; have set margins to 0 but the printout still has a
clear 4 mm margin. Is there any way to avoid this?

I have never tried this, but some printers allow a custom paper
size to be specified. If you have that feature, you could
specify a slightly larger size paper and see if that gets you
the full bleed effect.
