Reference value in another cell as the value
Is there a way to see the "value" of a formula in cell B1 in cell B2 without
copying and using paste special, "Value"? I would like it to be automatic if the value in B1 changes. |

That is true, but it does not show the value of B1 as it would if you copy B1
and paste special....value only into B2. When looking at B2 you see "=B1". Hi,
You see that if you look in the formula bar but not in the cell, there you see the value that B1 formula evaluates too. If you want the value to appear without a formula then you must resort to VB. Tight click your sheet tab, view code and paste this in Private Sub Worksheet_Calculate() Range("B2").Value = Range("B1").Value End Sub Mike "ccgsuper" wrote: That is true, but it does not show the value of B1 as it would if you copy B1 and paste special....value only into B2.
