Excel 2007 won't open normally.
Suddenly, now, Excel won't open when you click on an excel file (from any
source, including my harddrive or from an email attachment). Excel tries to launch, but you get an error box stating "Windows cannot find 'C:\thefilename'. [Some references state that you can get this error if the filepath is too long, but that is not the case here.] Make sure you typed the name correctly and then try again." To open a file, you have to open Excel, use the OpenFile menu, find the file, and then click on it. Of course, this is very laborious. Can anyone fix this problem? RonLev |
