AutoComplete doesn't search the entire document. It searches only the column
your typing in and it only searchs so many rows above where you are typing. Also, empty cells in the column will affect how many rows above it searches. -- Biff Microsoft Excel MVP "anirban" wrote in message ... my autotext completion is not seaching the entire document before giving m a probable option from the earlier entered text in the coloumn it is only searching a part of the column and giving suggested values on basis of that......can anyone please help |

AutoComplete will search only upto the first blank cell (in both directions)
in the Column... You may enter something like zzzDeleteThisLater in the blank cells, complete your entry and then remove them (search and replace with nothing) once you are done. To enter in all blank cells at once... select the range, press F5, choose Special then Blanks Type what you want and press CTRL-ENTER "anirban" wrote: my autotext completion is not seaching the entire document before giving m a probable option from the earlier entered text in the coloumn it is only searching a part of the column and giving suggested values on basis of that......can anyone please help |
