Wrapping text in merged cells
Trying to enter text in a merged cells so that it always justifies left to
make a list in a column wiht on eword justified under the one above. Got wrapping on but cant do it without using space bar to push words past column width. Any ideas. Using return (as in WORD) just closes cell. -- Joroti |

why don't you just use one word in each cell and remove the gridlines from
that area so it all looks like one block. -- sherry "JRTB" wrote: Trying to enter text in a merged cells so that it always justifies left to make a list in a column wiht on eword justified under the one above. Yes that would work albeit with a lot more time to enter. I know it can be
done as i copied it from another users spreadsheet however the cell formatting gives no clues. Also they only had 3 lines and i may have up to 10 lines. When I try to add a line to their cell, it wont let me without resorting to the space bar trick. Many thanks anyway. -- Joroti "sherry" wrote: why don't you just use one word in each cell and remove the gridlines from that area so it all looks like one block. -- sherry "JRTB" wrote: Trying to enter text in a merged cells so that it always justifies left to make a list in a column wiht on eword justified under the one above. Use Alt + ENTER at the point you want a linefeed.
