I know how to copy and paste cells copy cells down then they past down "easy"
but can cells be copied down to up and then paste up? Copy cells 5-4-3-2-1 in
that order bottom cell to top cell then paste in cell #5 and have them paste
upwards? Just backwards of the normal way.
Thanks for any help

You can't doubleclick on the autofill button (bottom right corner of the
activecell), but you can drag that autofill button upwards.

If you rightclick and drag, you'll see a popup when you let go of the mouse.
You'll be able to choose the fill type that you want.

Copy the cells you want, and then Edit - Paste Special - Transpose checkbox
in the bottom and click OK.

You did nothing wrong. That's how Transpose works.

See a reply at your other posting.
