Creating a hyperlink in Excel.
Hello. Is if possible to create a hyperlink in excel to open a power point
presentation? For example, if LA2009XXXX is entered in Cell A1, could I create a hyperlink in this particular cell that would open a power point presentation that is related with this ID number. In other words, could I create a link, where if I a single or double click on LA2009XXXX would go directly and open up a power point presentation. Please inform. Thank you -- john vizurraga |

john,
Yes. If you put LA2009XXX in cell A1, then select the cell (A1). Once the cellis selected, select "Insert" from the top menu. Select "HyperLink..." at the bottom of the list. Now all you have to do is point it to the power point presentation that you want it to open. hth, Dennis "john vizurraga" wrote: Hello.
