Default Pvt Table Turned Values After Insert Calculated Field

I have a worksheet with multiple tabs. Each tab has a pivot table which links
to an Access DB. I created the first tab and basically make copies for
different data view/chart. So, all the pivot tables are linking to the same
source.

I am able to create a new calculated field in pivot table using Insert
Calculated Field. In the Formula box I have a IF statement. This works fine
as I can see the new field and able to drag and drop it. I saved the file.
Here is the problem. When I re-opened the file all the pivot tables turned
into values. The linkage to the DB is lost and there is no pivot tables. I am
using Excel 2007 and the file saved is in xls.

Can someone provide insight and solutions? Thanks.
