How do I transfer a filter drop down box to another cell?
 

Hi,
I have a spreadsheet that I filtered the questions in Column A, but I want
the drop down box from the filter to be in C1, is this possible? Reason
being is I want to hide Column A but do not want to hide the drop down box...

I don't think what you're asking for is possible.

Possible alternative?
Change the font color of column A to match cell background (white), and then
reduce column size to match size of filter button. Would give an appearance
of an empty column.

If you don't want people entering data in the column, you could try
protected those cells, and then protect the sheet.

Right click in your mouse and hold it, then move the box where you want to
see it
