Tabs and returns

When I tab after entering data in a cell, the tab jumps to another page in
the same sheet instead of tabbing to the next cell. And when I hit return to
go back to the first cell in the next column, it simply goes down one cell in
the same column.

Not sure what you mean by another page in a sheet, but you seem to be
describing what normally happens...

Perhaps you're wanting to setup a protected sheet, with some cells
unprotected, so that when you press tab/enter you skip to the unprotected
cells, as opposed to the normal movement?

For versions earlier than 2007

ToolsOptionsTransition.

Uncheck all the Lotus Transition Options

Your Tab key will now work as it should.
