Unable to Change Default Gridlines

I am using Excel 2007. How do you establish traditional cell solid borders for
workbooks (the same as what all previous versions of Excel would print)?
Now when I go to print preview, all cells internal to the border are hash
marked and only print faintly. The border is solid black, as one would
expect. I have tried using the "Office Button" and the "Excel Options"
button feature but cannot seem to find where I can choose a default to have
all cells solid black bordered by default. Thanks!
