How do I email an inactive copy of a worksheet

Working in Excel 2007 I want be able to email a copy of a worksheet or
spreadsheet without the sheet being active. I don't want recipients to be
able to edit or change the sample or to access adjacent sheets or data
connected to the sample. All I need is a simple copy of the data and layout
to be sent.
