How do I create a CSV file?
I have a Membership roster that I would like to convert to a .csv file. The
Membership intranet allows me to click on "Create a CSV", and up until I got a new computer this past Spring, I was able to get the file without any problems. I have pruchased and installed Microsoft Office and Student 2007, but I still cannot run the file. Does anybody have any suggestions?? |

What does the CSV file look like if you try to read it with Notepad?
Remember that a CSV is a plain text file, with Comma Separated Variables. If the CSV file itself is OK, how were you trying to open it from Excel 2007? Were you just trying to double-click on the file? If that doesn't work, the other options which I would try with Excel 2003 are File/ Open or Data/ Import External Data/ Inport Data. If you still don't know your way around Excel 2003 to 2007 command mapping, try http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...491511033.aspx -- David Biddulph "Gail" wrote in message ...
