Sort by Cell Color

How would I sort by the backgroun color of a cell? I want all same color cells to grouped to gether when I sort a range of cells. Thanks |
Sort by Cell Color
Excel has no sort by color functionality.
If the cells are colored due to Conditional Formatting, sort on the CF criterion(a) If manually colored see Chip Pearson's site for VBA function. http://www.cpearson.com/excel/SortByColor.htm Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Wed, 24 Dec 2008 16:28:01 -0800, da wrote: Hello How would I sort by the backgroun color of a cell?
