Sort by Cell Color
 

Hello
How would I sort by the backgroun color of a cell? I want all same color
cells to grouped to gether when I sort a range of cells.

Excel has no sort by color functionality.

If the cells are colored due to Conditional Formatting, sort on the CF
criterion(a)

If manually colored see Chip Pearson's site for VBA function.

Say Your data is in A2


Main Menu
Type Name in the Workbook
LColor
And Then Refer to
Type : =get.cell(38,A2)
Add
Ok
Now type in B2
=Lcolor

The Result show in Numbers

Now sort Data AToZ
