Display symbols in embedded excel sheet in word
 

Hello,

I have an embedded excel worksheet within a word document. I recently added
a less than or equal to ( ‰¤ ) symbol to it (as text). While the sheet is
active it views just fine, when the embedded excel is inactive, it displays
this symbol as a question mark ( ? ) . Is there a setting or add-in word
needs to be able to display this? Note, I can use this symbol within the
word document and it displays fine.
