Problem Linking to MS Excel Community Notification ??

Hello;

I've noticed recently that upon receipt of a Microsoft Community
Notification from and clicking "Read and rate the
response", I would get more often than not a blank MS Internet Explorer
window and "Done" on the task bar!!

I close the window, go to MS Office Discussion Groups::Excel::Programming::
etc. and find my way to the post. Very time consuming!

Why is that ??
Is it an Excel DG problem ??
Is it Windows XP problem ??
Is it Internet Explorer 7.0 Problem ??

How to fix it ??

Thank you.

Problem Linking to MS Excel Community Notification ??

It is a general problem with the web site. Log into the communities web site
first and keep your browser open then click the link in the email and you
will probably find it works.

By the way, most times you are in fact logged in even though you get the
blank screen. Keep your browser open at the blank screen and just change
windows to your email and click the link again.

Problem Linking to MS Excel Community Notification ??

OssieMac;

The key thing appears to be "Sign in" first before clicking the link in the
MS Notification. Obviously later in the session if you're still signed in,
then just go ahead and click the link.

Thank you for your help. Greatly appreciated.
