Excel 2007: Default Workbook Issue
I created two excel templates and named them book.xltx and book.xltm and
saved it to the following directory: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART When I first open up Excel, it uses my new default workbook as I can see my header footer, and other options. HOWEVER, when I create a new workbook using FileNew or clicking the New icon, it does not use my default workbook. I always have to click through the screen and select Blank workbook when I create a new workbook using the menu item or the toolbar icon. Any ideas on how to resolve? |

When you do a File, New Excel goes to your Templates folder. If you want it
to use your Book.xltx directly press Ctrl-n instead. -- Jim "illini_99" wrote in message ...
