Excel 2007 adding page breaks

Excel 2007 is putting page breaks on my spreadsheets and I cannot get rid of
them. Every cell has a page break above and below. Cannot adjust page
scale, etc. This has happened a few times. Closing and opening the workbook
has no effect. Does anyone have any suggestions?
