Fill without formatting
Problem:
In my spreadsheet there is a header row that I have put an underline on using the format cells, boarders. When I put data in the cell underneath it and try use the fill to create a series of numbers it autofills but also fills the formatting (boarder/underline) as well. The adjacent columns to the right do not do this when i fill a series. Target solution: To auto fill the column in question without bringing the underline/boarder with it. |
Fill without formatting
To fill without formatting, right-drag (rather than left-drag) the fill
handle down. When you release the button, you will be offered options, one of which is "fill without formatting". Regards, Fred. "James Myers" <James wrote in message ...
