Can you change the text displayed on the labels a Pivot Tables'creates for subtotals?

Hi all,

does anybody know whether or not you can change the text a Pivot Table
uses to label subtotals? You can change the title of a field using the
'field settings' menu option. Is there an equivalent for field
subtotals??
