Excel 03' columns don't line up after pg 10 when printing/previewi
In Excel 2003, I have a worksheet with roughly 135 columns that spans 13
pages when printed. I've anticipated that a max of 24 rows might be inserted and have added a border for all cells across the entire 24 rows x 135 columns (i.e. each indiv cell has a border on all sides). There are various width column headings in each cell in row 1 that are bolded and slanted at a 65 degree orientation. The text in the column headings is arial 10pt and I have the 'wrap text' feature turned on. The height for row one is 99.75. All other rows are the default height. When I use the print preview option or actually print the worksheet, the first 9 pages print exactly as I would expect. However, from page 10 thru 13, the column heading no longer line up with the rows below them if you look at the lines for the cell borders between rows 1 and 2. I've also noticed that some columns are not being printed at all and others are being repeated from one page to the next. My assumption is that the problem is related to the orientation of the data in row one because if I change row one to be the default orientation of 90 degrees, everything prints fine. I've tried varying the oriention from 65 degrees up to 89 degrees but the problem still appears. Only when I reset the orientation back to 90 degrees does it resolve the problem. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to retain the use of the 65 degree orientation yet resolve the issue with the columns not lining up? Any help you can throw my way would be greatly appreciated. |
