gridlines won't display
I converted a spreadsheet from Lotus 1-2-3 (release 5) to .xlw (Excel 4.0)
format by doing "save as xlw". When I opened it with Excel 2003 everything was okay, except there were no gridlines. In Tools/Options the gridlines box was checked. The background color for cells was "no fill". I've tried saving it as Excel 2003 and reloading, toggling the toos/options gridline box, and everything else I can think of, but can't get gridlines to display. |

Perhaps you have borders around each cell using white lines. Click on
the intersection of the row and column identifiers to highlight every cell, then on Format | Cells | Borders tab, and click None. Hope this helps.
