Grouping Dates in Pivottable Excel 2007
Hi,
I feel like an idiot but I have the instructions on how to do this... It seems pretty self explanatory except that the first step says "On the Options tab, in the Group group, click Group field". I can't find this Options tab... and I don't see a Group group. I see an Outline group under data that has the group and ungroup options... but clearly I'm missing something! I am feeling a little nuts! Can someone help steer me in the right direction? Thanks... |

The options tab is a contextual tab for pivot tables. Make sure your cursor
is inside the pivot table somewhere and both the options and design contextual tabs will be there on the ribbon. Most likely you just have your cursor positioned on cells that aren't part of the pivot table. "Christine K." wrote: Hi, I feel like an idiot but I have the instructions on how to do this...
