how do you freeze panes in Windows Vista

View tab / Window group / Freeze panes tool

There is a very useful Guide at
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...491511033.aspx
which helps you find the Excel 2007 commands

BTW: it is Excel 2007, it has nothing to with Vista
best wishes

Bernard:

Thanks for this link to the interactive guides.

I was just searching for something else about Excel freeze panes and found
your link to the interactive guide.
I looked the others up for Word and Powerpoint.
And, I also found a place in the Downloads where you can download these.
Now, I have used 2007 Office for well over a year now, so I have found things.
But, a friend of mine just got it and is going through the same adjustment
period that I went through to find things in the new apps. I sent this to him.
