Office Assistant and Balloons

Hey folks, can anyone tell me how to re-activate the Office Assistant in
Excel 2007-I mean the Assistant has only been deprecated (hidden) so there
must be a way to 'unhide' that thing. Alternatively, can anyone shed any
light on what else can be used instead of balloons to let users make a
selection to run different macros (i.e. chose printer) ?!?! Any help would
be highly appreciated!!!!!

i take it no one ever a answered your post? cause saying "see your other
post" when no one ever answered that one, is hardly helpful.

anyway, i have the same problem, lots of code using Office Assistant in
Access 2003, need to use 2007 now, and of course code doesn't work. i've
loaded the old .dll into the Office folder, updated the references in VBA.
still not working. only one line bombs, Application.Assistant.On=True.
the rest simply do nothing. no errro, just nothing.

i guess i am going to have to re-code everything to use something else,
dialog boxes i guess. but i was hoping to get some advice as to what is the
best way to handle this problem.

so far, nothing on this side. i posted to AccessMonster also, see if i can
get something there.
