Portions of lines being displayed in 2 diff formats simultaneously

Can portions of lines be displayed in 2 diff formats simultaneously in the
same graph? For example, can I have one graphed data line be displayed as a
solid line from months Jan thru April with months May through Dec being
displayed as a dashed line?

Hi,

Yes. One of the ways is to do it manually, select the line on the chart and
then single click one of the segements you want formatted differently, this
is a data point. Choose Format, Selected Data Point, and on the Patterns tab
change the line properties. Repeat this for each of the data points.

You can use Format Data Point, rather than Format Data Series, but if there
are many points in the range you'll be better splitting the line into 2
series.
