How do I format a negative number as follows (1,000) I can get either the
brackets or the comma separator but not both! Thanks |

Right Click in the mouse, Format cells., number, custom, look for the formula #,##0;[Red]-#,##0 and where the formula is displayed ( Type) add the parentesis as follow #,##0;[Red](#,##0) I deleted as well the - signal you can leave if you prefer "Julia" wrote: How do I format a negative number as follows (1,000) I can get either the brackets or the comma separator but not both!
