Pivot Table Field History

I have a pivot table set up that I am updating information in a "raw data
worksheet". I delete old records and add new records. Within the field
listing, older records are not going away even though there is not a field in
the "raw data worksheet" to reference. Is there a way to delete history, or
get the history to update when refreshing the pivot table?

Thanks!

Josh

question, refresh the pivot table data, then replace the field(s) you
removed. The defunct categories should now be gone.
