Auto Filter
II used an auto filter with a date column in Excel 2003. I tried to customize
it by having it select only dates before today. How can this be done, in auto filter. Thank you for your time. |

.... or if you want it to keep track of the current date, don't type in
today's date but instead type in =TODAY() -- David Biddulph "muddan madhu" wrote in message ... custom filter | choose is less than | type today's date and enter On Dec 1, 11:08 pm, Mike Busch wrote: II used an auto filter with a date column in Excel 2003. Hi,
In all fairness =TODAY() in the Custom box with less than selected should work, however, it won't. Also, unfortunately, you can't reference a cell in the spreadsheet. So you are stuck with hard coding the current date. Cheers, Shane Devenshire "Mike Busch" wrote: II used an auto filter with a date column in Excel 2003. Apologies. I was looking at conditional formatting, not autofilter. I'll
wake up later in the week. :-) -- David Biddulph "David Biddulph" <groups [at] biddulph.org.uk wrote in message ... ... or if you want it to keep track of the current date, don't type in today's date but instead type in =TODAY() -- David Biddulph "muddan madhu" wrote in message ... custom filter | choose is less than | type today's date and enter On Dec 1, 11:08 pm, Mike Busch wrote: II used an auto filter with a date column in Excel 2003.
